February Newsletter 2015
The aeroplanes would like to welcome Marley. He is settling in very well.
World Book Day/ Fundraising
On Thursday 5th March we are having a fancy dress day this means that your child can come to nursery in their favourite character costume for a small donation.
Please could we remind all parents/carers to collect their children promptly at the end of their session morning session finish at 1pm, afternoon and all day session end at 6pm. Unfortunately there will be a late charge for every 5 minutes over the end of session. We understand that there are circumstances that are unforeseen and we are happy to allow for these.
Bringing toys to nursery
Please can we ask that you keep these to a minimum, if children do bring equipment in they will be put into their keyworkers basket to avoid them getting lost or broken and can be collected at the end of the day.
We would be grateful if you have any unwanted large or small cardboard boxes that could be used in our construction room. We are also going to attempt to build an igloo out of 4pt milk bottles and would appreciate all the help we can get by you bringing in your empty 4pt milk bottles, please could we ask that these are washed out beforehand.
Our vision please help us with this challenge.
We are looking into changing from paper folders to a digital version this means that you would be able to access your child’s folder from a unique account from home and monitor their progress we are asking parents which they would prefer there is a form to sign when you sign your child in the register.
We would like to inform all parents/carers that childcare fees can be paid through the bank if you would prefer. If you would like the bank details please ask Charlotte.
Flying start t-shirts and jumpers are available to buy from us at nursery, these can help to save children’s own clothes getting messy whilst at nursery.
Prices- t-shirt £12 / Jumper £14
